Write Time Essays

If you’ve already written your best personal statement and just need someone to proofread, copyedit, and polish it, Iʼm happy to do so at the rate of $125/hour (if your draft is strong, it shouldn’t take more than an hour). However, if I think your essay could benefit from more than just surface level editing and needs a significant change in structure or topic, I will suggest the following package.

Get Started Package: $250

In order for me to help you find the best story to tell in your personal statement, I need to get to know you and your most noteworthy experiences, interests, and accomplishments. Thatʼs why I like to begin my work with clients by scheduling an initial two-hour consultation either in person or on Skype. What youʼll get:

• Application assessment: Do you have multiple applications with multiple, unique essays? Or can you write a personal statement that can be tailored for each school?
• An in-depth interview in which we discuss distinctive experiences that set you apart as an individual and that will guide the narrative of the essay

• A detailed, paragraph-by-paragraph outline of your essay, complete with sample sentences. This will serve as a backbone for the drafting process.
• A reduction in my hourly editing rate that can be used towards revision. Clients who start with the initial two-hour consultation pay $100/hour for subsequent hours to revise their drafts.

 

Tutoring Services:

Tutoring is $75/hour.

 

Meeting Location:

I prefer to meet clients in person at cafes in the Los Angeles area but I’m happy to do a Zoom meeting or even a simple phone call. I’m flexible and open to accommodating whatever meeting format works best for individual clients.
